Mercury Premier Service

Mercury evaluates the service performance of its dealers and assigns its highest rating of “Mercury Premier” to those demonstrating an exceptional commitment to service. We service most American made engines whether still under warranty or “Classic.”

Earning a Mercury Premier Service rating means a dealer:

  • Achieves a 12-month service CSI (Customer Satisfaction Index) score above the national average.
  • Possesses all necessary service tools, test equipment, manuals and parts books.
  • Employs at least one Certified or Master technician.
  • Provides timely service for all Mercury Marine customers.
  • Offers extended service hours and mobile service, when appropriate.
  • Uses, displays and stocks adequate inventory of genuine Mercury Precision Parts.
  • Offers a clean, neat shop with well-organized tools and service literature.

Service Staff

Jim Anton
Jim began his training on OMC products in 1970 and Mercury products in 1971. By the fall of 1971 he had obtained a certified status for Mercury, Mercruiser, OMC Sterndrives and Johnson Outboards.

1974 was a banner year for Jim Anton when he attained the prestigious master mechanic’s status for Mercury outboards and Mercruiser sterndrives. Jim still maintains his Master Mechanic status and is one of just a handful of technicians with the distinction of retaining a Master Mechanic status for more than 30 years.

Carol Anton
Carol is qualified for certified technician’s status for Mercury Outboards in 1984, and in 1986 she obtained her Mercruiser certified technicians status. In 1988 she certified for Johnson Outboard and Cobra Sterndrives.

Carol is one of a handful of women through out the United States to have attained the status of certified mechanic in competing products, and still maintains her certified status on the Mercury products.
